On DriveTest Strike, Liberals Dither, Delay and Deny Action PDF Print E-mail

(December 11, 2009) Progressive Conservative MPP Jim Wilson (Simcoe-Grey) says the McGuinty Liberals are dithering, delaying and denying action when it comes to ending Ontario’s 17 week old DriveTest strike.  In Question Period Thursday, Wilson appealed to the government to pass his back-to-work bill so that driving instructors, small businesses and truck drivers aren’t forced out of work before Christmas.

Bill to end DriveTest Strike Introduced PDF Print E-mail

DriveTestWith over 368,000 Ontarians affected, Wilson and Klees say it’s time to end the dispute

(November 23, 2009) Progressive Conservative MPP Jim Wilson (Simcoe-Grey) introduced legislation today that would end the 14 week old strike between DriveTest and its 600 employees.  The bill passed First Reading by a vote of 14-0, with Liberal and NDP MPPs abstaining.
